Below is a brief message from our President Dr. Mohsin Ali regarding the Pfizer & Modera COVID-19 vaccination.
It is recommended to take the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccination, when available to the general public. They have both been found safe and effective by the scientific community.
However it is a personal decision and choice.
They are NOT for use for children under 16, pregnant, breast feeding mothers and those with compromised immunized system(please discuss your concerns with your personal physician). The side effects ,baring a few major ones ,are limited to low grade fever for a day ,pain at the site, and muscle aches. We recommend an over the counter pain/fever medication 2 or 3 times a day.
As a precaution during the holiday season, we request that you please stay safe wash your hands for 20 seconds several times a day/wear a mask/and keep your distance.
Please remember that a “Negative”test does not mean it is safe to attend a gathering with people outside your household. By the time you get a negative result you may no longer be negative, even if you have no symptoms you can easily infect others. Some people test negative even though they are actually Infected. This is because the virus has not yet replicated (multiplied) to detectable levels.
Relying on a negative test and throw caution out of the window is dangerous. Please follow the CDC guidelines and be safe and be around to celebrate next year Inshallah with us ALL.
